Paleo Planet & Weekly Reads



Hey everyone!

So, some of you may know that I recently started a new job and it has been taking a lot out of me. I went from job searching all day everyday for 10 months to working 50 hours a week again. This has been a welcomed change, but has thrown some curveballs at my blogging and cooking time.

Not only do I have to adjust to my new work schedule, but this also calls for me to adjust my sleep, meal prep and fitness schedules as well.

I decided now that I will be getting a regular paycheck again, (woo!) I want to start reading a new book every two weeks. On my lunch break this week, I went into Barnes & Noble and picked up a copy of Paleo Planet. Hello new recipes!!

The last year for me has been one of many struggles both mentally and physically, and mental health has been on my mind. I want to keep my brain active and bring reading regularly back into my schedule.

While at the store looking for great new books about food I picked up a book for fun as well. I chose Girl at War. I think reading should be an escape, it is something that you can immerse yourself in. It should be something that helps develop your vocabulary, sense of self, and the world.

I am going to get my nose into these books and I will have a new recipe for you to try soon! If anyone has suggestions for new books to read I am always open, I will read pretty much anything.
